Join the Wellcome Insights Collective
A major global charitable foundation, Wellcome, is seeking the input of professionals and advocates working in its fields of interest. The Wellcome Insights Collective will be a network of whose work is related to the topics of mental health, infectious diseases, and climate. The community will discuss these topics on an online platform, facilitating a dialogue between these people “on the ground” around the world and a charitable foundation with an interest in understanding how to maximize its positive impact.
This is an opportunity to connect with others around the world working to make the world a better place, as well as to contribute to a major charitable foundation’s mission to bolster global health… all while getting paid. It is a very part-time commitment — more like an ongoing focus group than a job.
Description:
Participants will do an introductory call, then 4 "engagements" in an online platform over the next 12 months, each taking about 30 minutes (total time commitment = 2.5 hours over the course of the year).
These engagements may involve text/photo/video responses and will be a combination of more open-ended tasks and more evaluative tasks, getting your feedback on specific materials.
A discussion forum will also be maintained, and members of the collective may participate in the forum as they please -- an opportunity to connect and discuss with likeminded professionals globally.
Total compensation = $1,000
Qualifications:
Working either as a health professional or an advocate/campaigner in the fields of mental health, infectious diseases, or climate change.
This might include health professionals, policy-makers, people who work at think tanks, public health advocates, people working on or funding novel health-related technologies, and many more.
